Yes! The Discman 4 is designed so that ambitious amateur athletes, coaches and service staff can quickly
achieve professional results – easy, intuitive, precise.
With the Discman 4 you sharpen faster, more precisely and more efficiently. Hand files wear out quickly – our
grinding discs last up to 50 pairs of skis and provide consistent quality.
Tape the base, expose the sidewall and start grinding. Top results in just a few minutes, ideal for training, racing or home service.
With a Makita 18V / 2Ah battery you can sharpen up to 5 pairs of skis. Depending on the version, battery &
charger are included or available separately.
Yes – the Discman 4 offers stepless angle adjustment from 85° to 89° (in 0.5° increments) and fine tuning of
the cutting depth using the knurled nut – for maximum control.
Simply clean it using the included diamond dresser – within seconds the disc is like new. No tool changes
needed.
Yes, slightly detune the tip and tail to prevent the ski from catching. Keep the middle section sharp for control and grip.
